Together, these teams support international companies, innovative businesses and international talent in the Amsterdam Area.

As International Communications Advisor, the role focuses on a broad portfolio of marketing and communication activities aimed at international companies, innovative small and medium-sized enterprises, and international talent. The position involves translating strategic objectives into clear and concrete communication activities.

The scope of the role includes content creation, online marketing, coordination of design, partnerships and event organisation. English is the primary language for all external communication. Within the team, both Dutch and English are used.

You will operate at an operational level, ensuring that strategy remains connected to specific deliverables.

The ideal candidate will have the ability to identify a range of tasks and rapidly switch between them, while managing a diverse set of interests and stakeholders.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Implement the annual content marketing strategy targeting key groups, including international talent and businesses.
  • Build and execute strategies around partnerships with key external stakeholders.
  • Create and manage marketing materials (both online and offline) to support AIB’s initiatives.
  • Write, edit, and proofread content for various platforms, including websites, newsletters, social media content and promotional materials.
  • Translate or adapt existing content to ensure it resonates with diverse international audiences.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to organise events and campaigns that align with AIB’s overall goals.
  • Collaborate with external partners, media outlets and ecosystem organizations to promote external seminars, events and initiatives.
  • Manage partner and talent-focused events, including coordination with venues, catering and speakers.
  • Build and strengthen relationships with other stakeholders in the international business and talent community.
